Gamepad Not Detected

My gamepad is not being detected when I run Nintendo emuators. I used to run it well when I was with windows 98. I realised this when I upgraded to windows xp pro .Does anyone have any suggestions,

sometimes software gets messed up during the migration. either you can uninstall, and reinstall it, or go and buy a new one. Hope it helps.

Maybe you downloaded the wrong one. It could be that some emulators only work with certain types of OS (operating system). Maybe that one only works for Win98. It's just a suggestion.
