Hello im superseed ive decided to make a torrent tracker although i have it already set up on my home pc made by torrent trader template i need someone to give me a server and help me with uploading it.I have managed to get uploaders with 0day ect and am now waiting for a partner and a ded server thanks

we need a server to host the site and one to use as a seedbox the site is vapour torrents and is very well made we just need a server if ud let me have urs i can make you an sysop and we can start going live with the great site i have 4 people on board one uploader with acces to 0 day and scenetorrents stuff and 1 web designer and 2 graphics as well as a few friends which are mods. A couple of tips: 1) Ads are lame. If you have them from the start you will really struggle to get members 2) You wont get your money back from donations for months, if ever. If you really thought you would then surely you would just stick your money where your mouth is and buy the server yourself.

I think dedicated hosting isn't required for a new tracker. So the fees will be somewhere around $5-10/month.

There's various problems with this.

1) What do you do to justify someone else giving you a box? Supplying a copy of some open source code doesn't cut it.
2) Why would someone give you a seedbox to pass on to others? What do they get for their money?
3) Who will control the site server? Someone paying for a box is unlikely to give you root, if you aren't root then you have zero control over your database or your code.

If you're serious about starting a site, then lower your expectations a little.
Start small, get some friends to seed from their seedboxes and make sure you control the server.
Going on a spending spree with someone elses wallet will end badly.

I wouldn't care for the site that is getting started just benefit from donations. And will tell you more, I don't see it alive after couple months of existence as well. If you starting a site - you must love what you doing, not do it for money, unless it's simple business project, but then don't beg for ppl to come and give you that money - it's business, not a beggary then.
