ive heard about this usenet from cable comp.? but how do obtain this? i use rr and i have Giganews but wanna see what this is about thanks for any help:01:

I have RR and I use their servers just fine. :) Type "news-server" in the server address in your newsreader, user name and password not needed. :)
For the server address, put:
news-server.socal.res.rr.com
If that doesn't work, try:
news-server.socal.rr.com

thnx bro it works getting low speeds but it works 115kbs with grabit :01:
nvm just maxed my download speed :)

I get 800-1000kbps with rr NYC.
By the way , do u guys can use SSL?
When I able it , it seems to me that I can not download anymore.

i just used more connections ...it seems they dont limit connections. about 25kbs per connection:01:

Anyone here use charrter for newsgroup access? I tried using them, they had all the main groups that my current provider gives me but im stuck downloading at only 23kbs...
