even if i look at this in photoshop with like 7x zoom i still cant notice it, the only way i believed this is when i used the eyedropper tool, but i still cant believe it. open it up in photoshop or paint and use the color picker and you'll find out

I don't believe that one, it doesn't seem possible.

save it as a image and edit it in paint, then use the color picker tool, to me right now i still cant see it no matter how hard i try, thats why this has got to be the best optical illusion.

this is surreal. how can we see it without an image editor?
after clearing 1 selected color!:

sorry, i should have downloaded a scene release of a optical illusion, umm but most optical illusions follow a scientific theory or some shit so dont expect to find a updated version

but anyway its still amazing

Chess players should know this illusion. Been actively discussed over at Chessbase.com in past articles.

on the "proof" page on the left, its weird because it looks like they coloured in the squares. but without the proof or editing the pic theres no way in hell you'll ever notice it.

The cross-piece in each image is the same shade. Fact.

The blue squares on the top face on the left are the same shade as the yellow squares on the top face on the right.

The centre square on the top is the same shade as the centre square on the front.

^what is it?

its meant to look like stairs, they have painted the bottom part on the floor and then on the wall, so that in the cameras perspective it looks like its 3 dimensional
