Heathen. You can tell it's art because it's in a gallery, innit?

@Blackbird is your reality based on that of digg.com?
Duane Hanson was important for upgrading humanities vision of what is art & identity - in his time.
Ron Muek (http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/gallery/2005/12/29/GA2005122900888_index_frames.htm?startat=4) is more updated.
Yet as JP Fugley said "value artistic whatsoever".

I lied. I actually live in a very nice Jewish area in North London and I've never even seen a drug addict before.

I have (not outside me door like) and the chap in the sculpture looks a tad too healthy to me.

Hasn't Madame Tussaud's already done this?

Yes, but poorly. I went to the LOTR exhibit when it came to london a few years back, and they had a full life size replica of Boromir laid out on the boat ready for the corpse to go over the falls. It was so lifelike it was eerie. Compare that to Madame Tussauds, which is just basically a bunch of mannequins with wigs on. And that's actually their business. They charge people to look at that bunch of wank. The props department nerds of Weta probably spunked out that Boromir during a break in filming or something. What a rip-off.
