Yea, we're under a massive Ddos attack, our hosts told us they've never seen so many IP's attacking one IP at the same time, lots of zombie networks :(

So until they can figure a way to stop this, the site is down.

Indeed, if it's a Zombie network the "hackers" will notice it if NB is up again. They just Ping the server , get the IP and pass that through to the Zombie network.

All the crap will just start over..

I read somewhere that Romanian IPs were banned from SCC. If it is true then it is a real shame. I think Romanian Internet is one of the fastes on the planet (aside from Nordic) due to fiber- Internet and all those Metropolitan areas wired.;)

SCC banned Romania since half a year ago or longer if i'm right. There was a time were almost all ro trackers were flooding each other ,only rsr was up if i remember right. And it was then when they ddos-ed SCC a preety long time too, so they eventually banned the whole country

Thanks for your answer Vidde! You know -> I`have a brand new computer without OS. So i downloaded Win XP from TPB since NB is down. It was a crack of Win XP, so i`belivd that everything was fine after i finished the activation. But when i come home from a vacation, those 30`days of ... ehee (norwegian word: prøveperioden) was gone i get a big problem. When i startet the computer. I gets a message that i`hafe to activate. Do it? YES or NO. When i press YES, i`get a new message that says that windows already is activaitet. And if I press NO, well. Then the computer starts all over agen. Then I try to start the computer in safe mods, but the same happen! I`must (norwegian word: formatere) - then i`lose everything i had downloaded from NB + my big, great, perfekt mp3 collection. AND i was writing on a big book - i`was so stupid that i did`not have a backup!

And since i`lose everything on my harddrive - i`dont have anything to look at! Were do i`download? I`just use NB. I`cant use DC++ (dont have anything to share) and TPB allmost have just 1 to 2 seeders :/ Not good! Kaaza, limewire, winmx, bearshare etc. is no-no for me... Just NB ROCKS!

Det ser ut til å være et problem med en switch (evt. nettverkskort) hos vår hostingpartner. Vi får ikke kontakt med web2 utenfra. Direktelinken mellom våre servere er oppe og serveren kjører, men det er ikke mulig å kontakte den utfra.

Vi har derfor midlertidig åpnet web1 for tilgang. En kan ikke laste opp torrents her, men alt annet skal fungere!

En må bruke "web1.norbits.net" som URL. Vi kommer til å ta en beslutning senere i dag om vi flytter DNS for hele norbits.net over hit, men har valgt å ikke gjøre det ennå i håp om at problemet blir løst i løpet av dagen.


And by the way, i can't access to Hompage: I can view only forums and torrents...

@ROFL-LOL: Refresh, mate ;) Or flush your DNS, that page is old now.

@Others, the mainpage thingy is basically about NB now running a temp solution, since they don't have complete access to the DNS tables. As soon as the host's responding again, they'll gain access as usual, and everything will get back to normal.

If you want to seed your torrents right now, you'll have to change your announceURL to what the main page's suggesting :)

Ppl, refresh your cache, and press ctrl+f5 to refresh the site! ;) It's working now, the site is up, but the tracker itself is buggy, it will get fixed within tomorrow we hope, but for now, there is not a problem to connect the site itself.
