It probably depends on your taste. There are a lot of smaller music sites that generally specialize in a certain genre, and if you happen to like that genre then the site would be gold for you.
Other than OiNK, I personally love Indietorrents, Kraytracker, and TR.

though. They also have an impressive amount of concert
video footage.

~db.etree.org --> mostly jambands, like phish, the grateful dead,
mmw + many many, many more... (seriously the database is huge,
and the peeps there are some of the nicest people on the web :))
oh and no ratio system :D
