Cheers for that balamm, I hadn't heard of it either, I found a review here (http://www.osnews.com/story.php?news_id=1112). Its a bit of a bummer that it only does win 9x and Me and the review says that it can't use Directx so games are out. But it still looks like it has a lot of potential, Edit: Especially as they reckon its as fast as native windows. /edit
If only it were open source :(

I wonder, if it's that fast, would it be possible to install VPC inside the win9x folder and run Win2K or XP from there?

I found this on the one page >

>Improved Video Performance - Win4Lin now has the ability to run Direct X applications that do not require direct hardware access. As our users give us feedback we will include a list of Direct X applications that run well on Win4Lin.

It's on emule now. Win4Lin.v5.1.1.-.Linux..zip

lol, just keep stacking the os's till u get it to work :) . I dunno if it would work, I'll bet vpc makes some hardware calls or something similar that'd stop that working.

It would have to be if windows runs at native speed inside linux. The same is not true running linux in windows.
There are some major disadvantages to linux in VPC in windows that this setup would overcome.
