FTN userlimit

So guys, seems as though FTN have raised the limit to 15000 users today (has not been announced in news yet)

maybe this is part of the new changes and maybe some of you desperate users will find it easier to get in?
who knows... maybe theyll give some of us invites.
what do you think?

15K is the right limit for a good torrent tracker. I personally think they had it way too low.

It's 15k but the system is still the same. It will still be as hard to invite someone as before. It's not like they relaxed their restrictions and gave out a bunch of invites.

I hope this isn't true. I prefer a smaller number of members, makes the site seem more secure. Speeds are fast at the moment and without the ratio system no-one has to worry about the numbers of leechers so increasing the userbase seems pointless.

I don't know why FTN will increase the users no to 15k. at the first it was 5k and then increased to 6k but the registered users it never exceeded 5k.

well it's funny you should say this crap, because from 15 000 users only 1 000 donate at ScT. So Feeling must be making a fortune , given that server, electric , etc bills are free.

hopefully they will relax the invite requirement. ftn is realli diff to get in. i think ftn over sct anytime. i will be waiting for ftn unless my friends can offer me sct.

now when u ask for an invite and u are not given, they say ask after a month

Anyway, FTN's max users was a joke, it's back at 6,000 now.

My guess is that there will be more invites than it was.

Sure...or just scaring long - time users. It was funny though, that there weren't any (official) announcements , forum - topics, messages or comments on it. It was a major suspect from the 1st moment...of its short existence.:)

I doubt they will increase the user database that much they have not even reached 6000 users yet let alone 15000 which will take years unless thy pull of invite restriction rules which i dont see happening.

The truth is i pressured Brandon in another thread and since hes always saying he can host ScT's number of peers and users on his Server and that he doesn't need the same hardware that ScT needs, i decided to take him up on that, he changed in a few minutes to 15K, but now i see he couldn't follow through with it.
