Do you save the move on disk/CD/DVD for later
or delete it after you watched?

If yes, how many do you have by now in your collection?

I extract the scene released movies to watch them...N then i delete the avi file after...but i never delete the original rars so tat i can seed them again on other trackers or if later on they appear in a collection. I burn most of them to dvdrs n keep some on my hds. Have totally lost count on how much i have in my collection though.

No. I mean sized for dvdr as opposed to the sized for cd :ghey: scene rips....i.e. 746mb replaces 1cd rip. 746mb = 1/6 dvdr
other sizes are 1/3 dvdr 1/2 dvdr etc.....

i see. but there is a certain level where you don't have much data compression left.
i just bought a faster computer. so i watch all new releases in hd anyway.

regarding the thread topic:

don't archive all those films. i burned nearly 2.000 on cds.

you always think, that you are going to watch them again, but i fact you won't. it's just a waste of shelf and hd space.

i only keep a few that i watch with my friends nowadays.

but i still burn every music album :)

yeah, it's probably about collecting. same with the trackers, some of them are a real waste of bookmarks.

I like to collect movies so I usually end up burning 6 avi. files or the 1 dvd file to a dvd. Yeah I have so many movies lined up to watch I will never get around to watching them again. I just like the idea of having a huge movies collection in case I ever want to watch a certain movie again someday. I have about 1000 dvd's
