Invite Zone Access

Okay, SO I have been a member longer than 30 dayz, and I still don't have a star or invite zone access.... :cry: Who does a fella have to pay to have access :whistling

Don't remember nothing about having to donate, but would be more than happy.

PS..love the Tutorial on how to make a seedbox...which is how I found the site a few months back:naughty:

I've been a member for a month now as well and have yet to have access to the invites section. Is there a post count I have to reach as well as the 30 day wait period?

13 posts..and 6 posts within 1 month probably spammed them in the Kazaa forum too...

A good idea would really to make em post more..say 100 posts and let em wait 2 months too, before they get their desired access...

What about giving moderators the discretion as to which n00bs are allowed access to the invites section or not?

That way, the ones that contribute properly to the forum will get allowed access, the ones that say nothing for a month or only spam, won't :blink:

I'd expect a little more dignity in the way you point me to the FAQ.

If you had a job of telling noobs to reading the FAQ everyday, which they don't and then they come on here whining and complaining..
then you will be very peeved off and stressed!!

Rossco, make it so that you have to acknowledge reading the FAQ as well as the rules before you can join. In fact, isn't that one of the rules they say they read, that they will consult the FAQ before asking questions on the forum.

i say rossco is ultra-tolerant. there is faq, there are like 10 topics on the same issue in this forum alone. people that don't bother to read the rules or search the forum for a month and get cocky after you point out the fact don't deserve less than couple of weeks of ban.

Would it be possible to provide people without invite section access a link purporting to be a link to the invite section, however when they click on it it takes them to a page explaining why they haven't got invite section access :dabs:

I think people should be directed automatically on their first login after account confirmation to the FAQ thread of BitTorrent Invite section to avoid any more of request threads to the Invite section.

From that, then you can tell them to read the FAQ angrily but apart from that i was only trying to explain my problem.

Honestly i never noticed an FAQ and i browsed through the forums in great detail shortly after i registered. I've seen the rules and what not. But, salutations to what you guys do, it seems updated and well looked after (the whole FST community).

Apoligies if i caused some sort of hostility between the whole discussion.
