This past week I've noticed that numbers of users sharing files are down by about one million, from around 4 million a week or so ago to around 3 million now.

I can tell the difference: It's harder to find the files I'm looking for with fewer people sharing them.

Looks the RIAA is getting it's way. :(

No idea.

I don't use Kazaa much anymore. ;) Maybe other people have also found better P2P applications.

KaZaA is slowly losing it's greatness. It is full of fakes, child pornography and is often slow at some times. And also, it's GUI isn't the best either. I use eMule now anf then, for small files, only 'cos it's sooooooo slow ...

I'm gonna go to Shareaza, it's 4 in 1 networks looks cool and absolutely NO SPYWARE whatsoever.

When did you become a Shareaza freak. I'm sure the client is good but because it doesn't support the fasttrack network or bittorent means you are less likely to find the file you want.

There are 4 million users online now. About a half million less as usual.

But don't forget that it is summertime for a lot op people now. Lots of people on vacation who turn of their computer.

I tried it, it took 5 hours to hash my files then wouldn't connect for 2 days... so uninstalled it.

I eased off using Kazaa the last week or 2 but ultimately decided 'screw em', in fact now I share more than ever
