I just wanted 2 have my say.. on how gr8 AVG 7 is, i feel guilty for using a cracked version but iam poor..

But AVG has 2 be the best protection against Viruses 100 times better then Norton ..

It no wonder Microsoft want 2 buy the company that does AVG...

is there a way to safely test how great your AV really is? - like deliberately infecting it with a bunch of viruses (viri?)

well the way i tested my AVG was 2 download a bunch of Software files of kazaa...

thats how i test my av i just search on kazaa for cracks and 8 times out of 10 there are virus'es. ;)

I think I stopped downloading kracks from KL awhile ago... Now I use "other" "safer" methods... Like buying the software, IRC, google, or breaking into the company in disco pants and a steak strapped to my chest for the guard dogs.

norton is that bad?..........it seems ok to me but I guess it's hard to tell if your av is bad. Maybe if I catch a new worm that norton isn't updated against then I'll be cryin'!

thats right, and downloading cracks off kazaa is a verry easy way to test your virus scanner as there is a huge collection of them on kazaa which are viruses.

Get AVG, update it and start downloading with KL. You'll soon find Hantaner, a worm which Norton's doesn't seem to realize exists.

If I'm not mistaken, MS has bought the the firm which develops RAV (Reliable Anti-Virus) from Romania.

Have they i didn't know they had actually bought it..
