The Office is funny, but it's really not like Friends or That 70's Show

Seinfeld is like Friends

70's show rocks :D!

Do you want similar shows that are just good comedies?
Or similar shows that are good comedies and related to a bunch of friends hanging out together?

Reaper is pretty funny, Reaper's best friend is particularly hilarious.
Weeds is kind of a drama, but it has it's funny moments.
I have to think about some others though... hmm...

I strongly recommend you to watch "Joey", yes the same Joey from friends ;) It has only two seasons, cos they stopped it for some reason, but you're gonna have a great laugh :)

It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia is a pretty funny show involving a group of friends (they own a bar together). Entourage is another comedy show about a group of friends (a celebrity & his entourage). I would say don't watch either show with kids around. Friends/Seinfeld/That 70's Show was alright to watch with kids, but these two shows are for an older audience. Also, from the shows mentioned previously I like How I Met Your Mother (I don't really think it's funny most of the time, but the main story + narration style of the whole series gets you hooked... and once again, about a group of friends). Two more I'd like to give an honorable mention would be Aliens in America & The Big Bang Theory... they're new shows for this season and they seem to have potential to become really good shows.
