How Can I Convert

I downloaded VIRDUB V1.5 , but i dont know what to do . all i got told is that i need virdub and anothe program but i just wanna know how to convert asf to avi , basically... :unsure:

virtual dub will do it but u need a 1.3 version for it the ealier one the reaon MS wrote them a nasty let for copyright of the asf files TMPGenc i wouldnt use becasue its not good at exracting the wav by itself so if u want to exract the wav get the eariler version of virtual dub it comes in handy for

also ther is ASF tools but it sux in my opionon ;)

Hey thanks Ad ! Ya know what? I had read that somewhere. But I had forgotten. So now Im stuck with three HUGE files ......in ASF format! :lol: uhhhhh :huh: :blink:

well I was lucky got my version on kazaa just search kazaa u will find it

ASF is actually WMV (Windows Media Video, i think). microsoft simply doesn&#39;t want anyone to convert windows media files to other formats, so you have to do a bit of digging around to find programs designed to convert them.

such programs exist, but they&#39;re what you&#39;d call "semi-legal."
