I'm running the game on Vista 32bits. No problems at all till now

Anyone played it yet?

Finished downloading it and went to install but as soon as I click install it says my OS isn't supported. I'm running Windows XP SP2 64-bit with all updates. I browse the DVD and and set compatibility mode to Win XP for the setup.exe and it then lets me run the installed but as soon as it goes to copy any files (after I've selected what type of install and so on) it pops up again and says my OS isn't supported and setup closes.

It's got to be due to the fact I'm running the 64-bit edition of XP so anyone got any ideas?

I got a solution for you mate..

I read that to play on XP x64 you need to edit the file "Pro Evolution Soccer 2008.msi" with orca.msi program (google it).

1. Right click on the msi file
2. From the menu select "Edit with Orca"
3. On the left hand colum (table) Look for LaunchCondition and left click it once.
4. Now on the right hand side you should see something like this.
(Not Version9X=400) AND (Not version..... This only runs on windows XP
Replace all the "(Not Version9X=400) AND ......." with "(Not Version9X=400)"

This will make the installer work on anything but windows 9x.

5. Now under file just hit save and close Ocra.

6. Now try to run the MSI installer again

I'm playing this game since the first they it comes out. This Game is awesome!
100 % it is better than Fifa 2008 i think...

Wicked game.
Fifa is crap...I've been a Pro Evo fan since Pro Evo 1. Nothing can get betteR!

Pro evo all the way.
Stopped playing Fifa ever since I discovered my sweet Pro :D
I think that people who like Fifa better just haven't played Pro yet. :P
This Ps3 version is just beautiful :D :yes:

pes 2006 is a very good game i play pes for long time now i would say that i am a pro player..i always go on competitions in my country i even won some ...
fifa is good too but i simply love Pes

For me Pro Evo has fallen ever since Pro Evo 6. I, still think Pro Evo 5 was the Pro Evo. It may not have been the most realistic but in terms of realism, fun factor, graphics, and ability to score sick goals Pro Evo 5. This one is kind of turning into FIFA. The graphics are completely redisigned. Want to play a really good game. Look on line for Pro Evo 5. The best ever.

The best of the series.
And I read somewhere that the Producer wasn't full aware of the PS3 potential so he said that in the next one, we could expect some MAJOR changes :D

The PS2 version is completly different than the one for PS3.
It's like 2 completly different games.
The one for PS2, the only difference from PES 7 is that them teams are up to date. Nothing more.

The one for PS3 however... has suffer some major updates.

BTW... has any1 manage to "fake" a penalty on purpose?
