yeah, i picked up a red top cos it was on sale at walmart for 150$. suits my car well because of all the audio stuff i have in it.

There's a shortage of lead at the moment. Honestly. We're being offered nearly £300/ton for our old batteries and prices of new have been going up every two months this year.
It's the Chinese again. Apparently.

Excellent choice.
My last redtop lasted six years (then I sold the car, so it may still be in service...) and I didn't think twice when I needed a new battery for my RX...got another one.
When you factor in the service life (not to mention the reliability), the Optima is a great purchase.
