Unknown Movie

this movie is from the mid eighties to early nineties. its an action adventure movie. the movie is set in a jungle type theme, there is a cyborg type thing that has active camaflauge, meaning it is almost invisible. the main character is a terminator type guy, only i think this guy is human. and the cyborg tries killing him. and he fights him back. thats about all i can remember, i just know it was one of my favorite movies, and was wondering if anybody could help me out. i can try to think of more details, i'm pretty sure i'd recognize a name if somebody said it.

Van Damme only played the predator in pre-production... after that it was given to Kevin Peter Hall... huge bloke he is.

I saw a movie once which was a complete rip-off of Predator, but I can&#39;t remeber what it was called. But forgetting Arnies name is just so wrong.
Predator is a classic too - "I ain&#39;t got time to bleed&#33;"

According to an interview with director John McTiernan, the hole in the jungle appearance of the Predator in PREDATOR (1987) was played by Van Damme in a blue screen (actually red) suit. Van Damme quit after two days, unhappy with being cast as an uncredited special effect. The alien was scrapped, redesigned and was eventually played by 7&#39;2 Kevin Peter Hall.

nope, (hmm it feels good to be on the other end of that word for once :P ) the film i&#39;m talking about was a direct copy of predator, it was set in the jungle with a big monster that could turn invisible (with identical effects to predator) hunting people. The monster also looked a bit like predator and had heat vision.

I think i may have been wrong about last of the mohicans,

Predator sounds right, i was only 5 when i first saw the movie. and the main character looked extremely similair to Van Damne, so if the main charecter was him or someone similar then your prolly right. i&#39;m downloading the movie in kazaa right now to see if your right. thanks for the help.

I was talking about the main guy from last of the Mohicans ie the mohican guy. (I think it was him)

arnold swanegger (sumthin like that). yeah i know what he looks like. and anrold is staring in the predator. but so far the movie looks about right, but i need to see the last hour or so of it to be sure. i&#39;ve got about an hour left to download at 175kbps so pretty soon i&#39;ll be sure its right.

i have aslo seen a cheap rip-off of predator..
it was the same..a couple of guys ambushed by an invisible alien
but,not predator-2..
i forgot the name..special effects were very cheap...

i saw this movie that was a mini series on tv in the late 90' early 00'. it had this girl who lived in new york and was in central park and went through a portal or something to this magical place. someone wanted her dead so they went to this prison and sent out this werewoolf guy to go after her.(remember this takes place in the magical realm) anyways the woolf guy falls in love with her and was going to give her this singing pealr ring, but through it in the water anyways. that is about all i can remember but i think that it had domething to do with 'whos afraid of virginia woolf', but i have no idea. can some one help me figure the name of this movie is? pleez
