Downloading in college

What do you guys think the risks are of using your university connection to download music? I download a pretty good amount daily because the connection here is so fast but are the risks too high?

yep they do have really fast connection but risky.....my uni posted sticky that no illegal downloading allowed and they monitors the users account. if you get caught than you maybe in big trouble which is not worth taking i guess.

doing that is stupid ..possibly even worse than your isp calling your house. Since you are using their network ...they have every idea of what you're doing with it. Trust me, they do a pretty good job monitoring lol ...

PS: you risk a lot and consequences are pretty high when get caught

yeah, they have this logbook of everything you do, so its better not to do so.

i go to the library and download so theres no account there...hundreds of students use the computers each day....

i think they still track internet activity no matter what everything is logged so i would be careful if i was you
