Voice Cancelation, Beat Rippin, Etc

I currently have Cool Edit Pro to work with music files and stuff, but cant find a feature to ripp the Lyrics or Beat from a song.. do i need n e special plug-ins?
Is there another program that will do this and save it to a mp3 or wav?
