Okay this is my first thread here. I just started posting here 2 days ago. :D

So what is this place? You can do anything in here (only lounge?)
I belong to another couple of forum's, but since its summer and i have nothing to do, the more the better :P

Here are some things you could try. I'll post another one later B)

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

"MIND GAME

2% or 98%

This is strange...can you figure it out?

Are you the 2% or 98% of the population?

Follow the instructions! NO PEEKING AHEAD!

* Do the following exercise, guaranteed to raise an eyebrow.

* There's no trick or surprise.

* Just follow these instructions, and answer the questions one at a
time and as quickly as you can!

* Again, as quickly as you can but don't advance until

you've done each of them ... really.

* Now, scroll down (but not too fast, you might miss something).

Think of a number from 1 to 10

Multiply that number by 9

If the number is a 2-digit number, add the digits together

Now subtract 5

Determine which letter in the alphabet corresponds to the number
you
ended up with

(example: 1=a, 2=b, 3=c,etc.)

Think of a country that starts with that letter

Remember the last letter of the name of that country

Think of the name of an animal that starts with that letter

Remember the last letter in the name of that animal

Think of the name of a fruit that starts with that letter

Are you thinking of a Kangaroo in Denmark eating an Orange?

I told you this was FREAKY!! If not, you're among the 2% of the
population whose minds are different enough to think of something else.
98%
of people will answer with kangaroos in Denmark when given this
exercise."

You got Denmark right.

But since the answer to the numerical part is always 4, that wasn't too hard was it.

I was thinking of a Cheetah in the Dominican Republic eating Hazelnuts! :P

Holy F*ck I had that

Freaky shit

NikkiD

It will almost always work, no matter what number you choose (other than 1) - when you multiply by 9 and add the digits of your answer it will always be 9.

ex. 2X9=18 1+8=9
4X9=36 3+6=9

then subsequently, 9-5=4

4=d

Not many countries start with D, and one of the more obvious choices is Denmark. Not many animals start with K, Kangaroo would be a common choice. As for a fruit starting with O, what is the first thing that pops into mind?

Organically grown cucumbers!!!

Damn you.

I was going to say that after a little while

I had the math formula and everything :(

I never said it wasn't.
But you asked the first thing on my mind, didn't you?

Here is another one. This has nothing to do with chances or probability.

DON'T CHEAT BY SCROLLING DOWN FIRST... It takes less
than a minute.......

Work this out as you read. Be sure you don't read the
bottom until you've worked it out! This is not one of
those waste of time things, it's fun.

1. First of all, pick the number of times a week that
you would like to have dinner out. (try for more than
once but less than 10)

2. Multiply this number by 2 (Just to be bold)

3. Add 5. (for Sunday)

4. Multiply it by 50 - I'll wait while you get the
calculator.......

5. If you have already had your birthday this year
add 1753.... If you haven't, add 1752..........

6. Now subtract the four digit year that you were
born.

You should have! a three digit number .

The first digit of this was your original number
(I. e., how many times you want to have eat out each
week

The next two numbers are ..........

YOUR AGE! ......(Oh YES, it IS!!!!!)

THIS IS THE ONLY YEAR (2003) IT WILL WORK, SO SPREAD IT AROUND WHILE IT LASTS. IMPRESSIVE, ISN'T IT?

And before somebody :angry: tells you how it works, :'( i'll do it

1) Choose a number X between 1 and 10.

2) Multiply by 2 -> 2x

3) Add 5 -> 2x +5

4) Multiply by 50 -> (2x +5)50 -> 100x + 250

5) Add 1753 -> 100x + 2003

Subtracting the year of your birth from 2003 ("coincidentally" the current year) gives you 100x + your age. Your age will always be the last two numbers, and your original number x will always be the first.

This will work for any year and any coefficients, you just have to change the '1753' to something else depending on the number you choose.

Hey, it was consensual abuse!!
I did it, and NikkiD agreed.

When and where did I ever agree to torturing poor Razz... I think you have me confused with someone else? I wasn't even there at the time!!! Or maybe it's me that's mistaken? OMG I'm so confused now... :blink:

Let's just say that Razz (and Tezz) are two underaged perons, who have aquired a acute case of cucumberfobia. :D

Well, I just tried stonecold's formula and came up with Djibouti...Ibex...and so far no fruit starting with X :unsure: . The moral of the exercise : It just doesn't do you any good to be different than most people. :( Therefore, my answer is Denmark...kangaroo...orange....... Wow look at all the people in THIS room ! :)

He probably meant his wife was in bed, watching "Neighbours". :lol:

That, or he was caught with the neighbours wife. Might explain the spelling prob.
