Try DVDSubber (http://www.darkwet.net/dvdsubber/about.asp).

DVDSubber was created to display additional subtitles during DVD or Media files playback. The subtitles are overlayed on top of the video.

DVDSubber use the timecode of the DVD to synchronize the subtitle with the movie. You can pause, fast forward, go to your favorite scene, the subtitle will always stay synchronized with the video.

DVDSubber subtitling engine is more powerful than the standard DVD Video format, where DVD subtitle are limited to 4 colors, DVDSubber give you access to more than 16 millions colors. You can also add special effect to the subtitle like adding shadow or using an outlined font to enhance readability

DVDSubber is compatible with some of the most widely used subtitles script format including :

Sub Station Alpha V4
JACOSub
SAMI
SubViewer 2
SubRip
MicroDVD

DVDSubber is now also able to synchronize subtitles with other video or audio formats like :

DivX
MPEG-1
Avi
ASF
MP3
WAV

and any other video format as long as you have the correct codec installed on your system.

Hope this helps you.

Tchau!
