New Computer

How are these specs for a new computer? i'm selling my current computer and i'm going to buy a cheaper one. does this sound like a decent setup for casual gaming, and movie encoding?

I plan on overclocking the processor to 3.0ghz, and i'm going to overclock the geforce4 ti4200 to ti4600 levels. any suggestions for anything different?

I can't understand why you would want 2x 40GB drives.

For less money, you could get a single ATA133 80GB drive with 8MB cache - use the saving to get a higher spec motherboard which supports ATA133.

Less heat inside your case too.

i recomend RAEdon 9800 pro ATI i like it better then g-force

i hate radeon, there drivers suck, and i've trusted nvidia ever since the old tnt2 riva days. and nvidia rules at drivers, and the ti4200 overclocked to a ti4600 will own the radeon 9800 anyways. i might consider grabing a radeon 9700 pro and overclocking the snot out of it. but i'm pretty sure i'm going with the ti4200. and lynx, i'll prolly go with what you said and get a better motherboard, and go with 1 80gig.

Can i remeind you that overclocking a Ti 4200 will not give you 4600 performance, it may achive the speed but it could only pull to that of 4400 performance
