I saw the vb3 lite in the forum skins.. which would work.

but would it be possible to make it either detect when you're mobile.. or possibly a link somewhere so you could click it letting the site know you're on a mobile device so it changes the skin for you.

something less of a hassle so you don't have to go into user cp -> edit options and choose the skin.

it'd be nicer if it just detected you were on a mobile device somehow and automatically showed that stylesheet.. but I have no idea how hard that would be to accomplish.. and changed back when you were using a normal browser on a pc.

Good idea It would be a good idea to be able to connect here with a special menu for Cell-Phones

The feature is supposed to know when your on a phone and do that already.
My guess is that it needs to be updated for newer phone types...

I know that's not what you're looking for so I'm posting from my phone. maybe if you look at my info it will have my user agent there. I won't log back in til sometime tomorrow.

the ip should be from cingular

209.183.x.xit doesn't keep that info.
You have to tell me what it says on that page. Not sure why it would say page cannot be displayed.:unsure:

From another HTC phone (Hurricane I believe), using WM2003SE:

HTTP_USER_AGENT = Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 4.01; Windows CE; Smartphone; 240x320; SPV C550; OpVer 8.2.1.11)
HTTP_ACCEPT = text/html, text/plain, text/vnd.wap.wml, text/x-vCalendar, text/x-vCard, image/gif, image/jpeg, image/vnd.wap.wbmp, audio/vnd.audiokoz, */*

However, if I try to connect to a real page (eg .../index.php) I get an alert:
This page contains errors and cannot be displayed
