I always knew there was something wrong with ketchup lovers.
They can't be normal human beings if they put ketchup on pasta, can they?
So I did a little research, and guess what?
Ketchup is just a cover up for the number of the Beast!!!
Just attribute a number to each letter of the "K" word, according to its place in the alphabet.
So K=11, E=, T= 20, etc.
Then look at this:
http://users.skynet.be/Ron/proof.jpg

666!!!

If that doesn't prove they're evil, I don't know what will.....

Oh, that's mustard ?
Must have been the way you were squeezing it.

Mustard is ok (the hotter the better), tabasco is better, burn's satan's .... well, I suppose it depends where you squeeze it.

Hot curry sauce is best of course, satan doesn't really like that ring of fire, (but I'm beginning to wonder about Ron though  )

According to Oxford Dictionary:
spaghetti bolognese /spgeti blnez; AmE bl-/ noun [U, C] a dish of spaghetti with a sauce of meat, tomatoes, etc.

Oscar Mayer?
WTF do wieners have to do with this?
Bolognese is what made America big!!!
America and la cosa nostra are inseparably connected. And every maffiosi worth a damn grew up with bolognese!!!

Sorry, I don't make it a habit to consult the Oxford Dictionary.

I did however check with the Meriam Webster online dictionary and the nearest thing it could produce was BOLOGNA... hence the Oscar Mayer question. :P

Since I'm not a connoisseur of "haute cuisine" I doubt I've ever had bolognese sauce.

Or if I did, it was probably just called pasta sauce. <_<

I personaly feel sorry for her, the beast and ketchup!

Therefore I propose setting up a union called SDGKU (for short) or Skweekys Devilishly Good Ketchup Union (for long) and also report you to the NSPCK, (National Society for Protection against Cruelty to Ketchup).

Although I respect your right to freedom of speech, someone has to come up for the rights of ketchup and Skweeky.

Introducing our secret WMD

HEINZ tomato ketchup is turning green. The company is launching the new version in America in October 2000 and hopes to introduce it in Britain alongside the familiar red sauce later. Red ketchup was one of Heinz's first products and has been on sale in its present form for 125 years. A blue sauce was also considered but rejected. Just to let you know that tomatoes belong to a very impressive family.

If you mess with one you mess with all.

Solanaceae (Nightshade Family)

The Solanaceae Family has been highly cultivated over the years - it includes potatoes, tomatoes, eggplant, sweet peppers, chili peppers (but not black pepper), tobacco and petunias. Some plants have great medicinal value, some are quite poisonous.

The calyx and corolla are 5-lobed, and usually there are 5 stamens. The fruit is partitioned into 2 or 4 seed-producing divisions, and may be dry or a fleshy berry.

Identification of the nightshades can be really confusing - the same plant, when keyed out, will often lead to two different identities. Two species are definitely known on Montara Mountain: Forked Nightshade (Solanum furcatum) and Blue Witch (Solanum umbelliferum).

The other nightshades may include:

Solanum americanum (Smallflower Nightshade)
Solanum douglasii (Douglas Nightshade)
Solanum nigrum (Black Nightshade)
Solanum sarrachoides
-----------------------------------------------------------
-----------------------------------------------------------

You have been warned!!!

Due to accepting this function he is no longer allowed to lead his troops into battle.

dlingeverything, you should be OK.
Your name is too long to check anyway. :)

I would like to state that I NEVER took the ketchup remarks out of my sig, btw.

Bender: even MODs have freedom of speech. Remember the first K-war? El_Jefe and jetje were on our side back then. (whatever happened to E_J anyway?)
R_F clearly stated his opinion too, I think. Have you been corrupted by the powers of MOD-hood?
Ah, I see. They couldn't kill you, because that would have caused a riot, so they just MODded you. Dirty trick, that is.
Divide and conquer seems to be the Ketchup lovers most used method lately....
They're trying to destroy us from the inside...
Come back to the good side Bender. Don't let them brainwash you. Fight it. You can do it, if you try.

From the same search:

The first commercial tomato ketchup was marketed by Bunker & Co. of New York in 1834, and many others followed its lead. Early production used as its base what were colloquially referred to as trimmings from canned tomato production - that is the rotten, green or diseased tomatoes and tomato segments which were rejected from the filling line

Nowhere on that page, the word "ketchup" even appears.
It's all lies and propaganda!!!
Don't believe him people.
It's true that, under the Reagan administration, attempts were made to make ketchup a vegetable in school lunches, but that's nothing more than a proof that big companies are helped by the government to get children corrupted as soon as possible!!
Ketchup isn't just tomatoes, there are things added. Thinking like that, would make pasta and bread plants.
Further research also led me to the fact that there s a precedent by a Livingston (USA) court, that ruled that prisoners cannot be force fed. So if they refuse ketchup, you can't MAKE them eat it.
That makes your allegation of me being a racist or offensive just a futile attempt to take a short cut to victory.
You will not win that easy, my dear ennemy.
In fact, you will NOT win at all.

And btw. Stop your paramilitary subdivisions from harassing ketchup/bolognese neutral students.

On the last Wednesday of August each year an estimated 10,000 people converge on the small Spanish town of Buñol to get down and get dirty.

Nothing strange about that, I mean who doesn't enjoy a little debauchery every now and again. It's just the way in which they get their kicks that makes for a memorable, if sticky experience.

As history spells it out, what began in 1944 as a simple tomato fight between a group of friends in the town's main square - the Plaza del Pueblo - has turned into arguably the worlds largest food fight. Actually, there is very little to argue about.

The festivities begin in the week leading up to La Tomatina with a celebration of the towns' Patron Saint. Fireworks light the heavy summer sky while street parties warm up at ground level. Rose wine flows and the hefty scent of wood fired paella fills the air. Music plays and people dance, a festival in full swing using any definition you care to apply.

But the majority of revelers are here for one thing and one thing alone - the chance to run amok with 90,000 pounds of gooey, squishy fruit - the rest is just a bonus.

Early Wednesday morning as a prelude to the inevitable result of encouraging thousands of people to throw fruit at each other, shopkeepers along the Plaza line their storefronts and doors with plastic sheeting.

Within hours the Town Square is awash with travellers and locals alike. Seasoned veterans mix with wide eyed first timers as more rose wine is passed around and the excitement level grows.

Then at around about noon, a number of trucks carrying the edible red grenades rumble their way into the main Town Square to the unimaginative chant of "tomatoes, tomatoes, tomatoes" from the now drunken crowd. Not wanting to disappoint the eager hordes, locals known as 'instigators' begin unloading their cargo on the assembled throng from the back of the trucks. And not being the types to take this sort of thing lying down the revelers return fire. So before you know it and totally to plan, you've got a tomato fight on your hands.....and your faces and your backs. You get the picture and what a messy shot it is.

Chivalry slinks out of town for a while as everyone becomes fair game. Red missiles are a dime a dozen, no-one escapes. It all begins and ends within the space of an hour. Little is sacred, although some rules do apply - foremost, tomatoes must be squashed in the hand before hurling. Not unreasonable.

The aftermath looks a little like a latter scene in Carrie. The ground, a fantastic base for the worlds largest Bolognese sauce. As exhausted combatants trudge their way towards temporary showers put in place for the event, the cleanup begins in earnest. And within hours, the Plaza del Pueblo magically returns to its former glory.

I love it!

It's the best everyday sauce and it makes a lot of food a whole lot more enjoyable. Especially on my french fries...the more the better. And I'm not putting tomatosauce on it like the americans do, it's not a friggin' pasta for god sake.

*Mayonaise was invented in 1756 by the French chef of the Duc de Richelieu. After the Duc beat the British at Port Mahon, his chef created a victory feast that was to include a sauce made of cream and eggs. Realizing that there was no cream in the kitchen, the chef substituted olive oil for the cream and a new culinary creation was born. The chef named the new sauce "Mahonnaise" in honor of the Duc's victory.*

What's going on in the,"unreal'" forum? The "real forum'" is only minutes back on line and Mayonaise appears in the kitchen! Perhaps we should join forces (only for a short time) to rid us of this new threat?

Just to throw the cat amongst the pidgeons I was recently working over seas and fancied an egg sandwich.
There were lots of hard boiled eggs in the fridge, so after shelling two eggs & chopping them up i added a pinch of salt and pepper, then i looked invane for some mayonase, then i spoted a bottle of ketchup on a shelf so i mixed the ketchup with the choped up egg and made my sandwiches they were delicious.
Don't knock it till you've tried it.

The reason it got moulded in the first place, is that noone with the tiniest bit of class wil ever ask for ketchup in a good restaurant.

Lynx,

As im the only MOD to openly state i like Ketchup, its very easy to "pin" something on me. And i wouldnt put it past a certain MOD (no names ;) )

I'll trust your cache, as i never looked at mine...but i never touched Rons post.

It said bolognese when i saw it, and i thought it was hilarious.

I am now waiting for the accusations that I have Posted as Skweeky, with fake photo's....as this is obviously the ONLY attack that the "bollocks"nese lovers have...false accusations of manipulation.

Its a sad day for honour that they are reduced to such low and degrading tactics...

Those pics have been fabricated!!
They are NO evidence whatsoever!!
They only show a former general with Alzheimers disease.
They do, however, NOT show the big steakknife a certain batwoman is holding against his ...ummmm........lovetool in order to force him to put ketchup on A plate. (not necessarily his plate)
So all these pics prove, is how our former general is being tortured on a daily basis. He would NEVER put that unholy condiment on pasta out of his own free, untortured, undrugged will.

1. Skweeky cooked a lousy meal tonight - coincidence?
2. There was no bolognese, mayonaise, mustard or any other sauce in the house - coincidence?
3. While I was looking for a way not to have to taste that "pasta", she put the bottle right next to me - coincidence?
4. By "accident", the webcam was recording - coincidence?

Conclusion: I've been framed.

If you look back you will notice that I posted immediately after Ron, (I must have been finding that recipe while he was posting) so I noticed immediately what he had posted, otherwise I would not have been tempted to look at my cache when you pointed out the modified version.

No she doesnt.

She said that he ate 4 (FOUR) helpings of Pasta, and she wasnt there for the last one.

That means she WAS there for 3 (THREE) helpings of Pasta and Bender put Ketchup on them all.

Ron

Now the catsup(theass) lovers are mistaking quantity for quality.
Well, to get this over with once and for all, I presented this case to my friend John Paul again.
He said the Holy Book had 10 commandments one should never break in it:

ONE: 'You shall have no other sauces or condiments besides Me.'

TWO: 'You shall not make for yourself a carved image--any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.'
(look at the image above)

THREE: 'You shall not take the name of the Bolognese, your God in vain.'

FOUR: 'Remember the Bolognese day, to keep it holy.'

FIVE: 'Honor your Bolognese and your pasta.'

SIX: 'You shall not use ketchup.'

SEVEN: 'You shall not commit adultery before you had your Bolognese'

EIGHT: 'You shall not mock Bolognese.'

NINE: 'You shall not bear false witness against ex-generals.'

TEN: 'You shall not covet your neighbor's house; you shall not covet your neighbor's wife, nor his male servant, nor his female servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbor's.'

According to these 10 commandments, the Ketchup scum will undoubtedly go directly to hell. Now there is some good news, and some bad news for them in that.
The bad news is that the Bolognese Empire has just signed an exclusive contract with Satan. Exclusive means: no more MacDonalds and Burger Kings down there. Just Bolognese restaurants.
The good news is that the Sauce will never get cold.

Then came the Germans with their Kartoffelnkrieg, the Italians with their guerra della patata and the Portuguese with their guerra da batata.

Some interesting KETCHUP facts... (1993)

Ketchup is the most widely used condiment in the United States. Ketchup can be found in 97% of all kitchens--a showing matched only by salt, pepper, and sugar.

The ketchup market is expected to remain flat for the foreseeable future, growing an average of just 1% annually.

Over the last five years, 95% of all ketchup sales have taken place in grocery stores--58% in supermarkets alone.

Children under the age of 13 consume 50% more ketchup than people in other age groups.

Ice cream makers Baskin Robbins tried Ketchup Ice Cream.
They refer to it as the only vegetable flavored ice cream they
ever made. After making several gallons of the stuff, they soon
realized it would not sell...

Bolognese can KILL people!
In Canada, a study was done, that found that people could develop life-threatening illnesses from consuming bolognese sauce!
Read this (http://www.inspection.gc.ca/english/corpaffr/recarapp/2000/20000317ce.shtml) for more information, and remember, ketchup has never been found to do these horrendous things!
Down with the death!

Ron
07-26-2003, 01:46 AM
1. It only applies to people allergic to eggs, egghead!!!
2. This is another fine example of how people who are too lazy to cook, buy their food all prepared, and then complain they didn't know what was in it.
3. And I quote from the article, which has NOTHING to do with research, mind you:

There have been no reported illnesses associated with the consumption of this product.

Hmmm.....

I have been an innocent watcher for the last couple... I don't know, but that's besides the point...
I just want to take sides and say that

Ketchup wasn't made for everything! Ketchup was made for fries, tater-tots, hot dogs, and other foods that were designed for ketchup. Where you get the idea that ketchup was made for pasta is beyond me, but that's not right.

But then again, I am not a supporter of bolognese, so I guess I'm neutral, unless there is a side for "ketchup is good for the foods that were designed for it" people.
