I'm pretty suprised that nobody has reviewed waffles.fm yet or even if there are any screenshots of the site. Can somebody that has an account there post a little review/statistics like how many torrents are there, what kinds, etc?

'waffles' has bookmarks added 'what' doesn't.

'waffles' pages load super fast ( as fast as sct) 'what' takes a few seconds longer when you click browse especially.

'waffles' browse page works , 'what' browse page is still full of broken torrents when you click : browse.php?by=s9&way=DESC

'waffles' has a better overall feel to the site generally in my opinion.

waffles:

users 1,793
Torrents 9,131

what: users 8,505

Torrents 14,046

i agree, waffles makes a better first impression after a few days. it's really fast allready, i was able to dl with 16mbit on quite a few torrents.

let's see how they develope after both have a new server.

just comparing the pages regardless of the content, waffles is an early winner.

since i've finally got a chance to see these two in action... i would like to add to this, also the following:

from a users point of view the selection seems of waffles seems to be better than what.cd, although what.cd seems to have a lot more classic material than waffles..

argeed on the fact the waffles pages load much faster than what.cd.. which is a major plus.... ;)

as far as leeching goes... which is one of my major concerns and is important to a healthy tracker, there is a lot of support on on that on waffles , what.cd i see is still having some major problems there...(and as a note here.. it's my opinion that the more leeching that goes on, the more it will encourage others to leech and seed..)

speeds on waffles is phenominal!!!!!!!! i'm having no issues with speed ...... what.cd however with the lack of leechers they have.. i'm affraid of d/l something from there cause i don't want to get stuck with a negative ratio due to lack of leech..

over all i'd say waffles is pulling ahead in this race by leaps and bounds..... but then again, these are only my opinions..

I also heard that Waffles.fm has the oinkplus feature that made oink rule even more!
also, I was a member of oink for over two years plus I have proof of this!!
how would I go about getting an invite. I rather get it from a staff member or a known oinker! not from someone random in the invite section?

Thanks:)

"Waffles.fm has a (in my eyes) very weird rule: “You may NOT stop seeding a torrent unless that torrent currently has 5 total seeders."
Thats strange? But I guess it helps the speed of a torrent!

Perhaps someone may add some screenshots? Won't be bad at all :)

I added someone's review review to the WIAW thread.

By the way, you can add OiNKplus to basically any music tracker.

I have it on What.cd, IT, Libble, TheMusik, STMusic, etc... you just add the url.. or change the code a little bit. It's really not that hard.

Waffles.fm is much better, and it's getting better all the time. They're fixing bugs every day. And probably a new feature is being added every day.
In a couple of days time (the admins aren't sure yet, since they need to test more) the new server will be added so they'll be able to have even more users added.

There are still problems which waffles has but I'm sure in a couple of months it'll be a lot better!
