Errors In Movies -freeze, Etc

I know that I have seen posts about programs to repair AVI files. They said that they would be a little smaller, but would get rid of freezes, and artifacts. Anyone know the name of such a program? thank you.

DivX Anti-Freeze is a codec included with K-Lite Codec Pack (http://doa2.host.sk/). This should stop the freezing in most cases.
