OK this is day one of my most serious attempt at quitting smoking,I've just applies my first patch,we will see how it goes.

This time I have an extra reason for stopping as my 11 year old son freaked out on me last week, turns out one of the reasons he was so upset is because he's convinced I will die of cancer if I don't stop.:O
So...Bye Bye smoking.

Good luck.:)

When I quit about 40 years ago I carried an unopened packed with me for a wee while. I eventually gave it away, still unopened.:)

I started smoking at 11 years of age, and quit in June at the ripe old age of 39, its hard but keep your chin up, and if you start to struggle, go and see the doc he gave me zyban, worked a treat, and I feel loads better.

I quit 6 years ago. I can tell you , first week was the worst for me but after 1 month I was a new man :)
How I did it?
I just didn't light any of this cancer food any more . This is the best way to quit. Don't try reduce it, just stop.......friendly advice :)
