For a couple of seconds before the site went down there was this text "Your code is still..." and then a couple of Goatse pics.

Doesn´t seem like there really is a server change.

Yes, that message came after the Goatse thing. Immediately after they realized they were hacked, they put that server change message up.

there was a message on the front page earlier before it went down again it said that thay had indeed been hacked by a member of the site who found an exploit. All he did however was change the front page

They were already stating he had caused people to see disturbing images, I guess those were goatse pics aswell...
