Can`t Play Downloaded Movies On Dvd

I`m new to this Kazaa thing but I`ve downloaded 2 movies- I can play them on my PC but my DVD player won`t recognise them - Any suggestions please!

how r u playing them on your dvd?? if u r just dling them 2 disk and whacking them str8 in they wont play.

1) you need 2 encode them from avi 2 mpeg first (use tmpgenc on kazza search)
2)then u need 2 burn them 2 disk (nero or alcohol 120)
3) if your dvd player supports it then use that as better quality
4) allso check whether u dld them in either avi/divx/xvid formats or they will need 2b encoded.

Do as redemption says and be also sure to disable menuoptions for the file you burn :a lot of standalone players have problems reading menustructures.
