Contrary to what the message says, the RIAA doesn't hand out sentences, a court does. The RIAA is just a trade association with a lot of influence, and not the actual law.

Don't be scared by those messages. If you read the news on the what.cd front page, you will see that someone was able to insert something into the database, which probably contains the HTML or javascript to show those two pages.

It looks likes someones idea for a joke, but the real joke is the site that allows that sort of thing to happen in the first place (what.cd).
