Recently, all this crap about ketchup, good and bad, has been re-emerging.
Quite frankly, ketchup may be good, but brown sauce kicks it's arse.
I don't know if it's available everywhere mind, it may just be a UK thing. I know stuff like this can be bought over the internet in british style food packages with stuff like marmite and rice pudding

Brown sauce is rank... It looks like the bowel of a public toilet...

Tell me, pleeeaasse tell me you don't put that sh*te on pasta.
What's it made of anyway?
If it has anything to do with excrements, nevermind then.

brown sauce should be labelled with a government health warning

this stuff smells so bad, especially when you heat it up (as most people do with their bacon/sausage sarnie's)

Proper Bo

no, i dont eat pasta, but if i did it would be bolognese, i dunno what's it's made of, hopefully not excrement but even if it is, it won't stop me!

Now butter's a different story, it's totally down to personal preference. But that's going off topic :P

I know they sell it over here in Canada (Couldn't eat steak w/o it!! )

But they might not sell it in America, probably out spite and jealousy of your superior sauce-making techniques!

The bottle PBItt posted is remarkably similar to this one: http://www.a1sauce.com/bottle_up_org.jpg

If "Brown Sauce" and "Steak Sauce" are similar, then I would only consider using it on beef. http://forum.ud.com/ubb/graemlins/cow.gif

a sausage roll is generally a square sausage in a normal roll

however, pastry sausage rolls are also called sausage rolls

Not in the case of A1... at least not IMO.

I don't care for "BBQ" sauce - too tomatoey and too citrusy in most cases. :x
