Mayonaisse is made (if it done 'right') from raw eggs, and uses oil (usually olive oil).
Salad cream is cooked slightly so that the eggs are not raw, and uses vinegar.

They are both the spawn of satan and should be avoided at all costs.

how can you say that???You can put salad cream with 2 day old pizza and it still tastes good!!!oh yeah and it kills all known germs DEAD!!!!!!
