I haven't eaten ketchup (aka tomato sauce) since I was a kid...
But that doesn't mean I don't like it...

I've seen the mess this ketchup war is creating in the lounge and its getting very sticky in here to say the least.

So what I'm proposing is a neutral stance for members who are lovers of ALL condiments... or those that have no single preference.

If you prefer mustards (seedy and non seedy), salad dressings, chutneys, marinades or whatever, come join up with me!

We have nothing to lose but the stains on our shirts!

Post your favorite condiments here and join the struggle for freedom from the scourge that is the ketchup war!

I'll lead off by stating my preferences:
worcesteshire steak sauce
honey bbq sauce
seedy mustard
dijonnaise

(Edit: typos)

Just FYI:
Bolognese is NOT a condiment.
Bolognese is a sauce.

No, but he did mention ketchup, which could....SHOULD be considered a fellony sauce. Ermmm,....condiment.

No fair guys.. you've chosen sides already. :P

This thread is strictly for the condimentally impartial... the pantry's equivalent of Geneva.

Well I've had steak that was marinated in Bolognese sauce at a bbq, Ron... so it could also be termed a marinade in certain circumstances...

As you seem quite knowledgable about baloney sauce tite-wad, ;)
maybe you can tell me where I can buy some - I'll try anything once.

No, but he did mention ketchup...

And so did you Ron.. just then. :)

Beats me... Ron's the one who keeps going on and on about it.

Though he swears he never uses the pre-packaged (from a jar) stuff.

Ask him for his recipe. http://members.roadfly.com/tite-wad/idea.gif

Are you crazy?
The only thing I know how to cook without burning it, is water.

I always got the stuff from my wife, or the girls here.
The one from the girls is best btw

Hot, pickled veggies in oil or water (I prefer oil, by far).

Any combination of, say, Jalapenos and celery, cauliflower, carrots, olives, green, red, or yellow peppers, bell peppers, mushrooms, etc.

Kind of a wide-open menu as to accoutrements.

Good stuff!
