those who own one of those cards how recent games specially Crysis went(at Max setting)?

i played my COD4 on some what good setting but with DX9 card but then i saw a clip of its game play on TV and it was totally different then what i played, so i halted Crysis so i may buy one of these cards and play with it.

i want to know whether one of 8800 Ultra's(Not SLi) can handle Crysis at max, i have Core2 Duo 2.66 so it will be enough to work along, an i m8 add another 2Gb ram.

then for whom they made this freakin game(or shall i say those extra setting), for their mum's ?
i thought Crytec was one of those who were relayed on coding more then hardwares, their FarCry was all about that.

ok i got it, this game is in a way related to EA which makes all these poor coded games, last example was Airborn.

well thats a bubble breaker :dabs:
but i dont know whats the buzz about, game is exactly like FarCry with a better graphics which nobody(yet) can play at it. the Suit features are so ridicules, 1st of all its hard to use them which is because of bad controls(all four features must be accessed with a single key) 2nd of all there is no way in which you can combine the features like what intro shows(going max speed then max strength to jump behind jeep, by the time you switch to different feature you're dead), each features can be used one by one and with such a hard control it wont be fast. 3rd of all these features dont last much, once you activate them it runs out so fast and you gain them back by taking a break which is not fun, fire controls are also not much a good, hard to aim, enemy takes too much bullets to die, headshots wont kill most of the times.

another game came out called black area something(10Gb), thought to download it but it isnt different from recent FEAR game so i skipped. currently am downloading N4S: ProStreet.

Its been one hell of a week, crazy week actually, so many games released and non of them were below 5Gb, if i was to down them from tracker i would have kissed my ratio goodbye.
downloaded 4 games so far(ProStreet on the way) and only CoD4 was worth playing, rest(GoW, FEAR and Crysis) are just lying down on my desktop.

the first video is a joke. running @ 1024 rez is no big feat. as u notice he's constantly losing frames due to the loading of textures and he also has video tearing. that's awful imho. sure, if that's all u can afford then so be it. also, running either of these games @ a whopping 25fps is garbage. sure, while some ppl can manage to play games @ those low frames i am not one of them. if i'm getting below 60fps i'm not playing the game. hence why i asked homeboy what his frames were. which brings us back to what was said earlier. nothing is playing crysis @ max settings worth a damn atm. if u think 25-30fps is good then ok. so, what happens when u run into a full screen battle? yeah, it's gonna sink u down to 10 or perhaps even lower frames. gl & hf.
