Demonoid downtime:Temp or permanent?


We're planning on temporary while Deimos considers the options and tries to secure new hosting, that's where it all hangs basically. The upside to the plan if all goes well enough is that Canadian users will no longer be blocked.

Another potential way of looking at it is that the CRIA have made us make a move that will see all Canadian users regain full access, working against their own interests.

Zamunda doesn't deal with invites, signups are open as long as the userlimit is not reached. That's the way it's been for as long as I've been a member there. And you're right of course, it's the largest private tracker I know and it's a good start but it clearly has much less content than demonoid.

I hope we'll get the demon back :ermm:

Well the Malaysian server sounds nice.
The one you said is "middle east" actually located in Israel, so i wouldn't recommend using it since we also have lots of anti-piracy organizations here.
But the Palestinian one sounds great. I would really like to see someone going there to try and confiscate those servers :D.

The content is fairly good (XXX included). They have a lot of custom uploads by their upload teams. 2 negative things though are that I saw as soon as I signed up.
1. You can't upload your own content as a regular user
2. Torrents are deleted quickly
