Quite cool...

Perhaps i can suggest this little number from Southend England
Gozer Website (http://www.eatgozer.co.uk)

If you wanna get some sound bites there are some links and if you look in their forum there are kazaa hashes for some tunes. Otherwise well i share them and did bung the hashes in a room ages ago may have to resurrect that thread....

Rush, Nirvana, and Black Sabbath ? Not bad but they could do with a better mix on the vocals in places.

I'm confused...

Rush = Best canadian band ever (at the period of time at which they were at their prime)

Nirvana = Seattle, right.....?

Black Sabbath = Love 'em, but I was born after they're broke up (or at least when they lost John Osbourne, which I consider their demise)

Sorry balaam, I'm not really sure I understood your post (I probably GROSSLY misinterpreted it)

But either way, the All-Canadian hottie in you sig is primo!

And if any of you would like to hear the best musicianship that canadian rock has to offer IMO, check out I Mother Earth (anything from 'Dig' or 'Scenery and Fish' will blow your mind)

I was saying I hear influences from all those bands in this bands music. Not surprising given the geographical and cultural links you point out.

I'm hoping to get a bit more time to listen to them soon. It's unfortunate that more bands like this don't get the exposure they deserve in the canadian market. Anne Murray you'll see and hear every few minutes in ads and on the radio. Canadian culture being shoved down our throats again.
I Am CaNaDiaN and I'm NOT Gonna take it anymore! lol Ok I feel better now :D
