i was told about something called 'speedmonkey' which is supposed to speed up your downloads but i have failed miserably in my quest to find it, which begs the question does it exist?

does anyone now where i can find it or can anyone suggest anything else which speeds up your downloading?

Does it exist? Yes and no. It's called Speed Up, the current version is 2.5.1 and it's made by Sharemonkey.

i've downloaded it and the blue bar is hopping all over the place. What does it actually do? :D
