Video Editing Program That I Can Use With

I have a non digital video camera (Sony CCD-TRV608) and wanted to know if theres other video editing programs out there? It came with PIXELA ImageMixer Ver.1.0 for Sony so I can only use USB connection. But it sucks, cause I cant adjust the size of the screen to make it bigger for movies or when I am picture mode there all small and the quailty sucks! I know making the screen bigger with movies make the file bigger but I dont care.

I know its possible since this one guy I knew did it with this same carea I have but used some different program?
