Why is it that after I complete a download off of Utorrent, there are still download speeds that show up while seeding?


Probably a noob question, but I see it all the time and wonder what the hell is downloading??? My download is complete???

i don't know utorrent, but if the dl speed is only a few kb/s it is the client communicating with the tracker and the peers

its because the world is racist, and even when your seeding, THE MAN makes u DL to cripple ur ratio further.

how is dl speed? if <1KB, it is very normal.

If I don't download the whole torrent I sometimes get that with utorrent but its very rare

Yeah, I'd just assume it's not automatically dropping the random connection needed to seed. Don't worry about it.

Its just communicating with tracker/peers.
It you select all your torrents and go update tracker, you get a decent amount of download at 4 or 5KBps.
