Has anyone had any experience with this provider? They appear to be fit for purpose, but the information is scarce. A search only returned a handful of results with no real performance indication, unfortunately. Has anyone actually used them?

my mate had an account with them briefly, i was able to reach 8MB/s download and upload around 4MB/s and this was on a torrentflux mind you, shared with 3-4 people :)

none of our services are with FDC. as stated the speeds quoted you will never get with FDC.

They offer unmetered bandwidth. unmetered bandwidth = slow

we have adapted the script for more security for the users, ability to run duplicate files. Regular torrentflux won't allow 2 users on the same box to use the same file.

There are other modifications also behind the scenes to make it run smoother.

I've tested their system before. It runs a little bit slow but totally solid. I ended up setting up my own seedbox on colo but I think they are pretty dependable and they responded to my request very quickly. It's totally worth a shot, ask for a test ride and see for yourself.

Not sure where you get your mis-information but we do not resell for FDC we wouldn't use their slow connection speeds and expect customers to be happy.

out of all the hosting comanys and places ive been for seedboxes ive yet to find any company that will setup your box or even your server for your website any quicker than what jmhservices do ..

they are a good hosting company and also great for seed boxes and even better when it comes down to the price difference from the rest out there ..

i paid my 2 dedicated servers quad qore, unlimited bandwith, 2*500Gb hds, one with linux en and one with windows on 2 jan 2010 like always, so iam in for 360euros,

I had the same problem paid on 30th Dec after receiving the invoice, then woke up today site was down, emailed netdirekt and they said i could take the server contract again but would have to pay them!

I paid them so i got me server back and have filed a dispute and esculated it to a claim with paypal!

Hoping to get me money back, i can believe JMH have done this!

This is real bad news. I have been with jmhservices (3 high end dedis) for more than 6 months now and have had nothing but good experiences with them. Never saw this coming. Just goes to show there aren't too many guys in this business that are worth putting all your faith in. Better have regular back ups and spread your servers across atleast 2 different providers (if you have multiple servers).

Anyway thanks to this forum, I came to know about netdirekt and just contacted them direct. They were quick to respond and had my servers back up in lik an hour of the first mail I sent to them with no data loss. Plus I had only about 10 more days of the current billing cycle with jmh so alls well that ends well for me.

sucks for the others that had a lot more time left though...

to get payment back from paypal, start the dispute, with telling them you did not reciefe the payed for goods, and call it hardware/software.
then make the claim and enter the email from netdirect.
say you have this as proof the reseller is comiting fraude.
excuse my bad english.
JMH will get 10 days to respond, if he does not the money will be refounded by paypal.

Apparently, they also ran a torrent tracker which is down for obvious reasons. The staff of the tracker said that on of their admins who ran jmhservices hasn't showed up for a few days. God knows where that scammer is right now. Hope I get my refund! :frusty:
