Your system must be pure crap if it crashes at the sight of a .swf file (that's shockwave flash for you newbies)

If you're concerned about what a link might be, then right click on it and go to properties and check it out.

There are a variety of silly flash files on that site and no mention of the program or application you named. Best guess is that your system was already infected.
