I do eat veggies if they're finely diced and mixed in with something. Salsa, for example. I also like pastas and lasagnas which will have tomato sauce.

Mathea

i dont think sauce really counts as a veggie on the food pyramid Skizo.

Anyways, I went to dinner but since Im so picky, I didn't eat much. Then came home and played on the xbox the rest of the evening. Good times.

Ate: yams, collards, ham, turkey, mash potatoes n' gravy, cream corn, crescent rolls, green beans...

Dessert: log rolls, chocolate cream pudding stuff, pumpkin pie...

Tomato is a fruit, old bean.

Which is a pulse.

Tomato is a fruit, old bean.

Which is a pulse.

The U.S. Supreme Court settled the controversy in 1893 by declaring that the tomato is a vegetable. based on the popular definition that classifies vegetables by use, that they are generally served with dinner and not dessert.

Due to the scientific definition of a fruit, the tomato remains a fruit when not dealing with US tariffs. Nor is it the only culinary vegetable that is a botanical fruit: eggplants, cucumbers, and squashes of all kinds (such as zucchini and pumpkins) share the same ambiguity.

So it's a fruit.

Apart from in American cooking. Where they say it's a vegetable because we use it as if it's a vegetable.

So it's a fruit.

Good suggestion. If one could be a vegetable (or fruit if some debate exists) what would you be? ....hmmmmmm......(she goes off to ponder this very deep question)

No it isn't, it's a fruit.

It confused Americans because they saw someone put it in a salad. So they decided it must be a vegetable.
