Use gspot, included in the k-lite ocdec pack, and find what the codec required is, get it.

I would agree that WMP 9 sucks, I have tried a bunch however and nothing compares to 8 (In my opinion, have not tried that light alloy program.)

I use as I said, wmp 8. Just drag and drop the file into gspot.

I have the same trouble with WMP 9 and had to switch to Videolan. Anything that WMP won't play videolan will play it. You can find a link for it at the main web site.

WMP9 is best for me, especially watching the film on tv. All u need is the divx3,xvid, and/or divx4/divx5 codecs if you have video problems.

ya, make sure you have all your divx codecs, and you should have no problems with wmp9. I dont even use divx player any more... just handier using wmp9.

Agreed. I can't recommend this progie enough. Its simple, and it will play everything, assuming you install the fucking codecs. Reinstall the player if you are still having trouble. ;)
