Hi all,

Hoping I can get some help here, I had an account with HDbits.or, and it has been disabled. I do not know why as I had a >1 ratio and am seeding plenty of things as we speak! Can somebody tell me how to get in contact with admin, my user name is tiger6969, or let me know how to sign on to the irc channel (not that tech savvy) :)

yeah my best bet would be to contact them through IRC, but even then some admins might not be so happy to help you

I have the same problem as well. I spoke with an admin on IRC and apparently the reason my account was disabled was "low usage". This because I only downloaded torrents with free leech (!) and therefor had no registred download, although 9 gig of upload.

What kind of stupid rule is that? And is this "ban" permanent?

Someone said in the channel you have to download 1 gig of non free leech material a month but I don't know if that's true.

Yes this has been an established value for some time.

What is the IRC channel and server so I can atleast try and get my account back too. It was disabled today for no reason I can think of other than inviting 2 people.

how long have you been a member and how much did you download?

Your account was disabled due to inactivity. Seeding is not enough, you also have to leech. Thay already announced on their forum that they don't want to see a low amount of downloaders on the tracker.
