Hi all...I'm new to the forums and I've started clicking on "links" to certain movies...does that mean they'll appear in my Kazaa Lite Traffic area...meaning I'm downloading the file...I think that's how it's working...? Also, will the GOVERNMENT RIAA - whatever it's called get me for all of this downloading... :( :blink: :blink: :(

Yeah...I've been thinking of quitting downloading because of the fines I've been seeing on tv and hearing about, where people have gotten in trouble...but I don't want to.

I download AlbumWraps and then use an AlbumWrap Extractor to have each song and create my own cd. :D B) B) :D ...I've only found one album that wouldn't extract fully out of a few that I've only done.

My whole point is I want that movie and will the government/RIAA - I don't know the name - get me...?

well if you have cable/adsl and a static ip, your isp may track wot you download, its up to them to tell the authorities. i have dialup, but they can still track wot i download, but i havent had any trouble in all the years of kazaa/winmx/morpheus/napster etc..etc...

By all the poohaa they brought out a few million us reidents quit filesharing.
Well imagine that all those buy one cd more now they have earned their money back. As long as they achieve this they will keep promoting their campaign ..
Well they have had some "serious" big success they sewed a few but still didn't catch the millions that still share

I heard the RIAA is sueing like 800 users. So if I were you, get as much protection as possible like get firewall (Sygate recommended) or Peer Guardian.

dont be scared man..kazaa has been downloaded over 250million times from http://www.download.com alone.. add those stats with all the other sites where you can download kazaa and you got ALOT of people with kazaa.. only a few have been sued and these were sharing huge amounts, over 1million mp3&#39;s

you have more chance of winning the lottery 5 times than being sued by the RIAA (literally)

What fines ? What people ? I&#39;ve seen none of this. What news are you listening to ?
I try to keep up on filesharing news and I&#39;ve heard nothing about anyone being fined for using kazaa.

It&#39;s true people, you are close to impossible of getting caught so why worry?

It is true that people have been getting caught with having dvds from abroad sold here (bought for 10p sold for£1) but this gets confused with p2p sharing. Don&#39;t worry, I&#39;ll tell you if I ever get caught so till that day keep sharing. :)
