hi i was wondering if you could shed some light for me one which is the fastest software for downloading movies? i have used kazaar and limewire and emule and now azureus and i think apart from the number of viruses and trojans you get with them they are all more or less the same and i use a 20mb broadband service so i know that i am using more then enough bb to be able to download much faster,

so if anyone can let me know of a download software that take s less that 8 hours to download on 20mb broadband then please let me know :D:happy::)

you need utorrent and some good private tracker accounts which has nice movie collection
like torrentleech ,revtt ,czone ,TD,SCC etc
check out http://www.moviex.info/forums/

Yeah on a 20mbit connection my friend gets movies in around 30-60 mins on torrentleech. Unfourtunatley i dont have a connection tht high, but still 2 hs isnt bad :D

If you want to watching streaming movies / have direct downloads (not filehosting premium sites) i like joox.net or quicksilverscreen

Giganews + NewsLeecher = Your 20 mbit connection completely saturated at all times.
DVDrip will take you 3-4 mins.
CD-R is around 15-20 mins.

If you can't afford Giganews, then (as Shijo said) bittorrent and a private tracker such as torrentleach, torrentdamage, etc.

its not the software that matters its the source...
good peers on private trackers in torrents
good high speed ftp servers
good newsgroups
good peers on DC++
speed on kazaa etc not that good
all these are possibilities.. easiest to find are torrent sites
however if you are willing to pay then a newsgroup like usenext will be the best option

Torrent protocol is very fast if there are enough seeders, but remember, how much you take at least the same amount you should seed.

Invites at Torrentleech are not currently open. I would suggest looking in the tracker review thread to see sites that are easily obtainable and have the kind of content you want.

I'm on a 16mbit connection. Best speed I get is 1.5Mb/s on filelist and other private trackers. For a new film I can get it in just over 7 minutes for 700mb.
