View Full Version : Should I take benchez off ignore

Just to see if he's posting as a non-tosser these days.

Do what you want, or take him off ignore.

He's fairly bland, really.

kallieb
11-25-2007, 06:01 PM
Why would you have him on ignore in the first place? It really can't be because you find him somehow offensive or doll. That describes the majority of posters in the lounge at one time or another.

I think he's ok. Certainly nowhere near bad enough to be ignored. Mind you, I think I've only got one person on my ignore list. If people are being twattish I want to read what they have to say.

Edit: I completely lied. I've 3 people on my ignore list, one's a spammy oik and the other two don't post here any more.

I wouldn't bother, mate. He used "droll" incorrectly anyway. It's a good thing and the suggestion was that it was a bad thing.

If you really want to see what someone on your ignore list is saying just go to their profile, check their posts, and voila, there it is.

If you really want to see what someone on your ignore list is saying just go to their profile, check their posts, and voila, there it is.

That's quite a lot of fannying about to be fair.

It's much easier if someone just quotes them for me.

If that's too much bother for you then a decent spud like Harriet will do it.

Sorry if that arrangement has offended you in any way.

kallieb

I wasn't offended, I was being helpful.

How was suggesting a much more complicated way of doing something being helpful.

I have a perfectly simple and straightforward way of achieving the objective. Why would I want to change that to a complicated procedure.

I thought the point of ignore was to get rid of spammers and offensive types. Not simply to ask people to quote the ignored user to read their posts??!! Its like walking out the room every time someone you don't like walks in, then asking everyone else if they said anything about you!

Did you at least try some Poutine! You must have if you were in Montreal. It is the national dish, next to anything with Maple Syrup in it!!

La Banquise is THE best place to go. All they serve is Poutine, in many varieties. It is right downtown, so very accessible.

I highly recommend it to anyone who happens to be in Montreal even for a day. It is very small, but open very late so you can get your Poutine fix any time.
