2007-11-26 - Site Outage 2007-11-25.

Torrent-Damage was down for several hours today, first because of a DoS attack and then it was taken down manually thereafter in case there was any "backlog" of DoS traffic. The IP which generated over 50 GB of traffic to DoS us was traced and has been reported to his ISP, hopefully with severe consequences.

Prolly will lose his ISP, not becuase of the damage, but becuase of the amount of bandwith itcost his ISP. . . retard didnt use a proxy :S

I donīt like TD... They make hella much money and still they have ads. And now they have a system where you get different colors depending on how much you donate just to get people to donate more.Greedy Fucks :angry:

its true, you can view their "target and "donations" and they usually get wll over what they need (aroun 2-4 times more).

How can a they be greedy they don't hold a gun to your head and force you to donate i have been a happy member for over a year their rules are not very strict i feel at home.

How much stupidity is floating around today must be something in the air

People donate there of their own will. When people donate there they dont get anything in return. eg: upload credits and things like that (unlike a lot of sites) All they get is a star, different colour for amount of times they have donated, and a different colour heart for the actual amount of money they have donated and thats it. They just have generous poeple :p

I totally agree I was on another website (bmtorrents). One of the Admins GF became ill and the next thing there is a pm reminding me how ill she is and that I can donate (like the guy who's obessed with porn actually has a Gf). It seems this site also now offers you free dl space if you donate a certian amount to this noble cause. And finally when I was having technical problems; my upload speed slowed so that my share ratio sank. So what happens when I ask the admin for help "just upload more movies or donate" was the solution which had nothing to do with the issue.

I'm with jesper12345 if there's money involved then there always the danger of commercialism rearing it's ugly head. And while these people have the right to donate they do not have the right to know who else donated or judge others on how many times they donated especially if it was zero. It is a form of hierarchy based on the almighty $ send a mug or t-shirt in the mail as thank you if you really must.
