Not really, those few hours/minutes really aren't that important. If I'm waiting for something I can allways go to teh forums/irc and kill some time and have a few laughs till it arrives:)

honestly, i could give a rats ass about pretimes. HOWEVER, when it comes to tv shows that i cant watch with my normal cable package (weeds, entourage, californication etc..), i do appreciate it when sites get it up ASAP.

but really though...what the hell do i care if my site was the first to get "software xyz"

Especially since it seems like most television/DVDs that I want are released later at night, I really don't see a problem in having them start downloading later at night versus earlier, since I'll just be watching them the next day anyways. I suppose when I'm back in California the ability to download my shows and watch them before they air in my local timezone would be appealing? Even then, I don't really care. Speed of download is much more important to me.

tbh pre times on the order of differences between 1 min, 26 seconds after pre, and 10 minutes, 34 seconds after pre means not a lot to me. but ya, if it's in comparison with 2 hours+ difference in pre time, then it makes a big difference. the main difference is with large files (> 2 GB) cause pretty much all the main trackers release (for example) heroes within about 15 minutes easily, which makes no diff at all.

Only on TV Shows do I care because I want to see them as soon as possible. :)

No i do not care all that much about pretimes, as i live in Norway and pretimes are usually in the middle of the night. But it happens that im actually awake when the pres start, And on those days i care about pre times. But anything under 30 min is good enough for me.

And even though i do not care about the times, i think its fun to see what trackers win the "raises" there are some trackers that are easy to get into that have awesome pre times.

It's nice to have good pretimes, but it's definitely not the most important factor for me. If I have a nice community and good contents, I don't mind waiting some time.

most of the time i dont but i answered yes because there are a few TV shows that im addicted to and i get them seconds after they show up every week. i swear some of them are addicting as fuck.

the minutes as already said does not REALLY matter, however a site with faster pretimes (even in minutes) just makes the site more attractive for me (not like that lol).

Yes, I'm really impatient for TV shows.
I literally constantly check a bunch of trackers after TV shows air to see who'll get it first.

doesnt really matter to me, unless if its late by days. more importantly it will matter to those who are trying to build a better ratio.. :whistling:

I voted yes, pretimes is not that important to me but since im downloading TV-series and whatching them the day after the day they was aired, it sometimes matter. But when its matter i care for the hours not minutes or seconds. Same with popular new movies and music. And here's the big but, i dont think im alone when i say that i seldom download the absolute newest material, I mainly download the oldies and the music you have been wanting to hear for so long.

I don't really care about pretimes, and I don't really understand the war between trackers trying to get a release a couple of minutes faster. I don't care if I get what I want a few hours (or even days) after the initial release, as long as I get it.

The way I see it pretimes are important only for people who download a torrent from one tracker and then seed it on a few others to buffer accounts, and since I don't do that then it means absolutely nothing to me.

probably important for uploaders who need to snatch it quickly to upload on anther site first...

i care because, i like to get a lot of stuff before i leave, lol, sometimes i schedule things around pre times :D

i mean, like going to work or sleep, its nice to be able to queue up some stuff before.

It is really help full when you have a seedbox and you try to buffer another site. Having it earlier and joining the seeders can bust your ratio rapidly;]

Yes. I like to watch new shows as soon as possible.

Same here. I try to get the trackers with the best pre-times since I mainly use them to watch TV shows.

really good question...almost all the 0-day trackers hav nearly same pre-times..but speed can be a concern to some people [not me ]
